Shaira
Shaira Gem S. Eslabon, is my best-friend. She is the most funny, patient and understanding friend I knew. Shaira and I first became best friend when we were in 4th grade. Then we became best-friends again last year. I felt very sad since shaira and I aren't classmates this second year. My teacher in photography once said " daw kapid kamo " and I agree. the way we laugh, the way we act, the way we think are mostly the same. And if I have any problem she's always there ready to listen to whatever my problem is. I thank God that we knew each other. I say we-re sisters but with different mothers. I LOVE YOU SHAI! :* :)

Journalism Class
Every journalism class, I usually get a bit scared because Mr. Gerano is a little strict. So I try to be at my best behavior so that he won’t call my attention. The first time we met Mr. Gerano, almost all of my classmates including me, were frightened. But as time pass by we learn how to adjust with him in his class. During our journalism period we are all quiet but in other subject we are noisy. These past few weeks I learned to be ready in case he asks me to answer a question because after all, his questions are mostly about the theme of our opening song. I learned many things during our Journalism class aside from the lessons we needed to learn. I learned how to obedient, quiet and respectful. I also learned to be ready and to be disciplined. Right now, I am honestly looking forward for our next Journalism class. Journalism is really fun. I also learned from Mr. Gerano that we should know when to speak/talk/laugh at the right time and at the right place.

My Family :)

This is my brother. My brother really annoys me and we fight almost everyday about non-sense things, like who's going to close the door and turn on the air-con. I feel guilty because I know that I'm the one who starts the fight. My brother doesn't know how to respect me as her older sister. According to my mother, he's doing this because this is also what I do to him. I still love my brother and I am grateful to have him as my younger brother and I really love his company. I just wish that someday time will come that mt brother and I will become friends.

This is My father. My father is one of the best fathers in the world. He provided us with our needs and he supported us, he loved us and took good care of us. My mother is a housewife and so it's only my father who works for our family. I'm very grateful for the things he gave me and the lessons he taught me like, we should be thankful for the food we are eating right now for it is a blessing from God. I try my best to improve on my studies and make my father proud. I am really worried for his safety since he is a seaman and they're always near the "piratas". I really thank God for giving me not just a wonderful mother, a loving brother but also a very supportive father. Thank You, Lord!

Rain
I like rain, but if the rain is pouring hard i get scared. But based to what Shaira and I have experienced last Monday, it was SO FUNNY. We were walking, while eating fishball and I was holding an umbrella since it was raining. And I kept on saying: "Ano ayhan tsura ta shai" and shaira simply laughs. RAIN is FUN :)

Activity Period
Today, was one of the greatest days. Early morning, the day was already great to me. During recess, IT WAS LIKE HEAVEN. I don't know what happened to me during lunch, all I know is that I was on a bad mood, and during silence period i almost cried. My tears were already making my eyes blur. I almost cried because of the reason that I was mad and I felt lonely. I prayed, that after this period I would already be back to my normal mood, the one that I always kept on laughing and smiling. And God is really good, He granted my prayer. During our activity period, I had so much fun with my friends because we all belong to one club, the Math Wizards. At first, My friends and I decided that we'll all be in the same club. So we wanted the homemakers, but not all of us got in the club. Catherine, and Elizabeth were dismissed early so my friends went down and waited for me, they told me to change my club because all of them got in the Math Wizards so I told Mrs. Clement to change my club and she agreed, anyway it could help me in my math class. We were all so happy because even though we're not in the same section we all belong to one club. Math wizards is great!!! and today, August 11. We had a game. I don't know what the game was called. We all enjoyed. But only the 4th year and the 2nd year students participated since there is only 1 student in 3rd year and 1st year who joined the math wizards club. It was so FUN even though we didn't win the game. ♥♥♥ Thank You, Shaira, Crystel, Adrea, Andrea, and Nelaine :)

Benefits of Laughing
Laughing is not just related to facial expressions, but it causes a number of chemical changes within the body. Good hearty laughter helps release enzymes and hormones that are helpful for normal functioning of various organs. This is due to a connection between laughing and stimulation of brain and different glands. Laughter enhances the body to release natural antihistamines. It also activates T-cells, a natural anti-biotic produced in the body. It helps boost the immune system and fight infections. It prevents numerous diseases by strengthening the immune system.
Laughter reduces the levels of certain hormones, namely cortisol, growth hormone, epinephrine and dopac, which are associated with stress response. Thus it helps relieve stress, depression, anxiety, grief, anger and irritation. Laughing also decreases pain by releasing a hormone, endorphins. It improves our attentiveness, pulse and heart rate.
Laughing is proven to be very beneficial for the people suffering from hypertension. It helps lower the blood pressure to normal. Laughing causes deeper breathing and increase in blood flow, due to which oxygen and essential nutrients are supplied to all body parts.
Laughter is a good workout for respiratory, abdominal, leg, back and facial muscles. It tones intestinal functioning, massages abdominal organs and strengthens abdominal muscles. This activity is advantageous for digestion as well as absorption. Laughter also helps burn calories and is beneficial for weight loss.
In addition to physical health benefits, laughing offers several psychological health benefits. It boosts self-confidence and gives mental strength to cope with conflicts and challenges in life. It also helps us come out of anxiety and depression. It improves out mental health and makes us forget all the tensions in our daily busy lives.
Laughing enhances our ability to connect with others. It also causes a number of behavioral changes. It makes us energized and increases our interest in daily activities.
Laughing also offers many social benefits. A person with a smiling face is always popular amongst a group. It lessens the distance between two individuals and brings them together. It increases healthy communication with others.
Laughter positively affects many aspects of your life, including your health, well-being and energy, leading to a healthy, quality life. So always smile, it improves your face value too.

Symbols for friendship
Horse Charm with gemstone
The Horse is a friendship symbol that represents mutual respect, being trustworthy, harmony, and dependability.
Rhodonite Ball
Rhodonite is known as the "rescue stone". Carved into a sphere, rhodonite makes an ideal friendship talisman. I says "our friendship surrounds us with strength and stability".
Harmony Turtle
The turtle symbolizes Heaven's blessings, harmony, longevity. If you have a friend who has endured, make a gift of this hand-carved gemstone turtle as a symbol of the blessings you've enjoyed together over time. The turtle will protect and preserve the harmony in your friendship.

the friendship poem
FRIENDS
A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits needs a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.
~Jean Kyler McManus~
---------------------------------------------------
You are friendly, kind and caring
sensitive, loyal, and understanding
humorous, fun, secure and true
Always there... yes that's you.
special, accepting, exciting, and wise
truthful and helpful, with honest blue eyes
confiding, forgiving, cheerful, and bright
yes that's you... not one bit of spite
You're one of a kind, different from others
generous, charming, but not one that smothers
optimistic, thoughtful, happy and game
but not just another... in the long chain.
appreciative, warm and precious like gold
our friendship won't tarnish or ever grow old
You'll always be there, I know that is true
I'll always be here... always for you.

the meaning of GREEN
I chose green, because I like the meaning of it. Though Purple is my favorite Color.
GREEN: Green is the color of Nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Dark green is also commonly associated with money. Green has great healing power. It is the most restful color in the human eye; it can improve vision. Green suggests stability and endurance. Sometimes green denotes lack of experience;for example, a 'greenhorn' is a novice. in heraldry, green indicates growth and hope. Green as opposed to red, means safety; It is the color of free passage in road traffic. Use green to indicate safety when advertising drugs and medical products. Green is directly related to nature, so you can use it to promote 'green' products. Dull, darker green is commonly associated with money, the financial world, banking, and wall street.
DARK GREEN is associated with ambition, greed, and jelousy.
YELLOW-GREEN can indicate sickness, cowardice, discord and jealousy.
AQUA is associated with emotional healing and protection.
OLIVE GREEN is the traditional color of peace.

Friendship is very important to me. My friends are the ones who make me happy and comfort me. My best friends and close friends are: Shaira Gem Eslabon, Andrea Embolorio, Andrea Mei Lacson, Crystel Anne Yee, Nelaine De Felipe, Jan Marvilyn Aquino, Camella Joy Raylos, Iris Maria Nonato, and Karah Marie Militante. They cheer me up when I'm sad or lonely. Some say they hate Sundays, but for me I love Sundays. Because the day after Sunday is Monday, the start of school. And so I meet my friends again. There is really nothing special in our friendship, because when we're together all we do is laugh, talk, and laugh again. Of course there are also times when we have misunderstandings, but we always try to talk to each other and work things out. That's what I like about my friends, when we fight after an hour, I guess. We become closer than ever. I'm a bit depressed because this year we're not classmates, but I'm also happy because we have the same club so I guess it's fair.

Rockbox eperience :)
Yesterday, July 19. My cousin, celebrated her 11th birthday. But she decided to celebrate it today. She celebrated her birthday party at El Dorado waterpark in MO2. We swam, ate and swam again. Then one of my cousins decided that we go and try the rockbox. so we changed then went there. we were all so amazed on how it was creatively designed. Then we looked for an empty room, then we started to play the instruments that were there. It was so fun cause mostly all of us, doesn't know how to use them yet. I started with the guitar, then the drums, then I sang and so on and so forth. After an hour we went back to El dorado. We swam for a little, ate. Then went back to Rockbox. Then went home. IT WAS FUN ;)
Here are some of the pictures that we took.

1 --- 2 --- 3 *My Favorite Numbers*
Here are the spiritual meanings of my 3 favorite numbers, 1, 2, and 3.
ONE : one primarily deals with strong will, positivity and pure energy. The number one reflects new beginnings and purity. The symbolic number of one is further clarified when we understand. One represents both kinds of actions : physical and mental. This combined with ones urgency for new beginnings, we begin to see ones recurring in our lives indicates a time to exert our natural forces, take actions, and start a new adventure. One encourages us that our actions will be rewarded with kindness.
TWO : The symbolic meaning of number two is kindness, balance, tact, equalization and duality. The number two reflects a quiet power of judgment and the need for planning. Two, beckons us to choose. The spiritual meaning of number two also deals with exchanges made with others, partnerships (both in harmony and rivalry), and communication. Two urges us out of our indecision, calls us to unite with like-minds, and like-ideals. Two asks us to exert our natural flow of judgement to do what is best for our souls.
THREE : The spiritual meaning of number three deals with magic, intuition, fecundity, and advantage. The number three invokes expression, versatility, and pure joy of creativity. Three is also a time identifier as it represents Past, Present, and Future. Consecutive Threes in your life may symbolize the need to express yourself creatively or consider your present directional path in relation to past events and future goals. Three may also represent promising new adventures, and assurance of cooperation from others whom you may require help. Three typically symbolizes reward and success in most undertakings.

TODAY - July 29,2011
Today, was one of the HAPPIEST days in my life. Early morning, was normal. I ate my breakfast, changed into my uniform and went to school. Upon arriving on school, I already had a feeling that this would be a memorable day. We had our daily lessons in our classes, Mastery tests in some subjects, and reviews for the upcoming examinations. During lunch, my friends and I had the chance to talk and laugh. then after dismissal we went to the information, went back again to the clinic and went back again to the information. We got our bags and left the school. We went to McDo in Atrium, then had our snacks there. Andrea Mei Lacson and Shaira Gem Eslabon were my companions. It was what happened in McDo that made my day GREAT. after eating, Shaira and I went to Mary Mart, to ride the jeepney. But then in the middle of the street there were this 2 kids who keep on asking our food. We refused to give them, because we were still hungry yet they keep on holding us and begging us, so Shaira gave her coke float to the kid and so the kids stopped following us. We went up the Sky walk and went our seperate ways. Upon arriving at the bottom another kid asked me for the food I was holding, I had no choice so I gave it to her. Then I rode the jeepney arrived in Savannah rode the shuttle and finally I arrived home. THIS WAS MY DAY :)

K.A.P.A.T.I.R.A.N.
KAPATIRAN, this year was the BEST. We all enjoyed it. The 1st day, we had a SALO-SALO by Growth community, and we were suppose to have a sculpture making, but time was so fast so we were not able to make one. I was so hungry 'cause i hadn't had the chance to eat the food I'd like to eat, I only drank a glass of soft drink for about 5 times or more, I guess. And on the 2nd day, We were all asked to wear a costume of our favorite cartoon/sports personnel/favorite Person or what we call our " IDOLS ". I was dressed as blossom, although she's not my favorite, still i like her. My friends were dressed as blossom too and some were dressed as pucca. I had to admit All of us, in the high-school department looked so cute in their own different attires. Right now I'm so speechless. All I can say is IT WAS GREAT. And I'm looking forward for more activities just like what we experienced a while ago. once again, KAPATIRAN was one great experience I can never forget :DD
